Show Success.

I'm super proud of my rosette :)
Well the dog show was great fun! I'll tell you all about what we got up too.

First of all before we left I had to have a bath. (I was very muddy :-P) To be honest I'm not the biggest fan of getting washed, but I was a good girl and let my humans wet me and cover me in soap and rinse it all off again without even trying to jump out!

My favourite part of grooming though is getting dried, I just love that hairdryer.

I get a little bored at being brushed and combed, and having my paw fur and feathering trimmed though.

At least I get to be the centre of my humans attention when I get groomed.

Oh no, it's bathtime!
Anyway, there were loads of other dogs at the show, all different shapes and sizes. And one of them was very noisy and kept barking!

First it was Mossie's turn in the ring, he was such a good boy. They say he was the 'Best Baby Puppy in Show' - well I already knew that! Then he even had his picture taken with the judge!!!

Then it was my go, I was a little naughty but I still got a rosette. It's a red one and just pawsome.

Wilson also did real good, and also got a red rosette just like me! Apparently the red ones are for if you get 1st - so I suppose that means we were superstars!?!

After that we got to play in a nearby field, we chased each other round and round and round. My human also gave me a yummy snack of some cooked salmon!

(And by the way if your wondering what about Cody, he will be coming to the next dog show in December)

Lotz of fun!

Show Time!

Hey everyone!!!

Just a quick post to let you all know my exciting news........ Tomorrow the humans are taking me to a Dog Show ;)

We didn't know if I would be able to go this time as they thought I might come into season just at the time of the show. But it turns out I haven't yet so I am able to go yippee!

As Holly is a crossbreed she will be going to our friends house for the day instead, Holly also hates lots of other dogs and barks at them all the time because she gets quite scared. However I LOVE going out to dog shows and making lots of new friends :)

My human has been doing training with me so I know how to behave in the show ring. I get so excited that sometimes I roll on my back to have my tummy rubbed but you're apparently
not supposed to do that. Humph.

My show name is 'Ridgewater Krazy Love'! Funny name but kinda cool too.

Anyway I will make sure the humans snap some pictures and will be sure to share them with you all.

Black and White Sunday ~ Me and my Boy

Today we're joining in the Black & White Sunday blog hop....with some photos (black & white of course!) of me and Cody having fun outside :)

Sharing my toy with my puppy boy.......

.......playing bitey games.......

......and looking cute for a photo (yes we were in the middle of digging a hole - can you spot it!?!)

Tasty Tuesday ~ Liver Cake

Every Dog deserves a yummy treat! Liver cake is one of my all time favourite. That's just what we've been making today ;)

Recipe
300g Liver
130g Flour
2 Eggs
A clove of garlic

It's easy peasy to make!

- First off you need to chop the liver into small pieces, then blend it.

- Then add all the other ingredients, and mix it all up.

- Line a cake tin, and pour in your mixture.

- Pop it in the oven for about 40 minutes.

- Leave it to cool, then cut into suitable sized pieces.

- Serve to your lucky dog :)

Notes by me ~ on Liver Cake

No.1 Liver cake is very smelly. If you ask me, it's a lovely, droolingly good smell. If you ask the humans, it's digusting. However, on this matter, I have decided I know best :)

No.2 This recipe made us lots of liver cake. I'd have eaten it all in one day, but you know what humans are like! So we put the leftovers in the freezer, for another day.

No.3 You can add other things to your liver cake to vary it. Such as; yogurt, oats instead of flour, a little splash of oil, or goats milk.

Mmmmm......enjoy doggies!

P.S. My puppy boys, Cody & Mossie, went to their first puppy classes last night. So my humans brought along some of the liver cake we made to use as training treats. The boys LOVED it as did their puppy friends (Molly, Polo, Toto, Sherlock & Benji) By the way they were little stars at puppy classes :) I'm one proud Mummy!

one of my favourite toys.....

Today I am going to woof about one of us doggies favourite toys. We have a whole toy box full of all sorts of different types of toys....but one we all love a lot is our blue hoop.

We got it in the Pooch Pack that my human subscribed to where they send us goodies in the post each month. Last time we got our blue hoop.

We just love playing with it and it is perfect for fetch and tug games!

The hoop is a total natural toy made from bamboo and rice husks. Cool huh!?!

The blue hoop it such a pawsome toy :)

Frosty Morning Fun

I just LOVE it when I wake up to find frost sprinkled all over the garden!

This morning is the first frost we have had this November! So as soon as I had eaten my breakfast, I went straight outside to play it it.

I love the way it feels all crispy cold underneath my paws!

And then of course I just have to roll around in it. I love rolling around in the grass, especially frosty grass.

As soon as the sun starts coming out, the frost melts away....but it's fun while it stays.

Winter has well and truly arrived here now!

Hope everyone has been having a pawsome weekend :)

Cody Pupdate

It's been AGES since I last posted pictures of my puppy boy, Cody. Here comes a photo overload!

Can you believe he is 14 weeks old already :)

His favourite things are: shoes, dinnertime and cuddles.

That's a photo of me as a puppy (a few weeks older than Cody is now) Do you think we look alike?!

He is such a sweet pup and I love him SO much.

He is growing into a big boy now.

One tired puppy having a nap. Bless him.

This N' That Thursday ~ A Forest Walk.....

We have a lovely forest close to our house, so my humans take us dogs for our walkies there a few times a week. Today we explored a new path.

In Autumn the forest looks amazing, with all the lovely coloured leaves.

Quickly posing for a photo before we went back to checking out all the new smells :)

Can you spot us in the distance?!

We had such fun on our mini adventure in the forest...

......And we even found a muddy puddle!!! And then I ran around splashing in it (that was supposed to happen) and got my human covered in mud (but that wasn't supposed to happen...oops!)

Back home and cuddles for my baby Cody!

We are participating in the This 'N That Thursday Blog Hop :)

Wordless Wednesday

Hope everyone is having a super fun Wednesday! Here are some photos of me having fun in the garden this Autumn. Enjoy!

Now I'll go back to go snooze on the sofa :)

Happy Halloween!!! (And Pumpkin Cookies)

I've been having a super fun Halloween! It was also Cody's first Halloween EVER.

The humans stayed home and made a mini bonfire in our garden. They toasted marshmallows (which smelt super yummy but the humans were too greedy to share!) and they sung songs. It was lots of fun :)

Lucky for us doggies there isn't any fireworks as we live in the country. There was a few banger thingy's but it didn't bother us as it was off in the distance.

Last year we got trick and treaters dressed in scary costumes which kinda spooked me out so I was happy that we didn't have any of them this time.

The humans got a pumpkin, and they carved it into a Bernese Mountain Dog face! It was pawsome...except Cody ate it's nose. Oops!

The humans used the inside edible stuff of the pumpkin to make me some treats. In the shape of: Pumpkin Cookies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Here's how it's done :)

Just mix all the following ingredients together...simples!

My human didn't "weigh" the ingredients, just chucked the stuff in the mixing bowl and adjusted it depending on how it looked!!!!

Then she got Halloween cookie cutters to turn them into Pumpkin face Pumpkin flavour...truly Pumpkin cookies in every way :)

Except one thing...you may need to be a little imaginative to see that they are pumpkins but they are. Promise!

The end (super tasty and I-want-more) result:

Yum! Yum! Yummy!

Wishing all our blog followers a very....

Lots of tailwags and sloppy licks and hope you all have a tail-tastic Halloween 2013.
