WARNING Photo Overload!!!!!!

Hello to all my humans & doggy friends :)

Today my puppies eyes are starting to open a teeny!!!

They are getting big now and are all growing strong and healthy.

Their little pink with spotty black noses are adorable

They like feeding time best of all!!!

Aren't they so cute!!!

Today they have been trying to stand up & walk around! Except they kept falling over because they haven't quite got the hang of it just yet!

They dream........of drinking milk!

Puppies describe cuteness perfectly!

This is one of my humans favourite photos of the puppies, you can see why!

Soon they will start to hear lots of different sounds too....

Aww.....

Ddd you know my puppies are 10 days old today!!!

You just gotta love 'em xxx

  1. OMG they are so very cute. I love them already. Are you a breeder? How long have you been doing it? One of the reasons I started my blog was to show that there are reputable breeders and then there are the irresponsible ones. Going by your blog, you're not irresponsible.

So what's the deal with the welping station? Did you make it? Buy it? Sorry, I need to read that post. And how's your girl? Do you have both the mom and the dad? First time here so I don't know your story.

I'm fascinated by this. I love puppies. We have three, no longer puppies.

    1. Hi Kimberly & thanks for your comment :)

We aren't really a breeder - this is our first ever litter. The reason we bred from our dog was because she had excellent hip & elbow scores (and Bernese as a breed have lots of issues with both hip & elbow displasia) her hips were a total of 4 and the average for the breed is 16. She has also done well in the show ring and seems to be a very good example of her breed. So her breeder said to us that it would be very good for the breed to have a litter from her. We are learning as we go along but all the puppies seem to be doing very well!! It's quite a lot of work (and that's before they are running around peeing and pooping everywhere lol) but it's lovely watching them growing and devolving.
My Dad made the whelping box himself, it's turned out great!
We don't own the Dad but Mum Amber is our dog. Amber's being a great Mum, she sure loves her puppies!!! We are also going to keep one, a little boy - although not sure who yet :)

Just checked out your blog, it's great, I've just followed it :)

      Anna.

P.S. I agree with you about the irresponsible breeders, it's terrible, lots of people seem to want to breed dogs just to sell them to make money (and if you do it properly you don't make any money) Hopefully people can become more aware of Puppy farmers & avoid them.... it's great that you are creating more awareness of it through your blog :)

    2. Just stopped by to see if there are any updates. So I see you must be really busy with your litter. We had 2 at once and that was overwhelming. I want to start a blog at the time, but could barely keep up with a FB page.

Hope things with you, the dogs, and the puppies are going well.

Thanks for giving me some insight into breeding. That was an aspect of why someone would breed that I never knew about. The more I know, the less I judge.
